In 2023, Monte do Picaro was granted approval to plant cabernet sauvignon grapes in parcels E and F. Further license was granted to plant a mix of grape varieties in parcels A, B C and D.

Vineyard Licensing and Commercial Potential

Monte do Picaro holds an approved 4.5-hectare vineyard licence, supported by a complete cost and management analysis.  A turnkey vineyard operator is available for future owners wishing to establish immediate cultivation and production.  The licence remains valid for 12 months, with extension possible.
